We replaced the Keycards with a pinpad system. No more cards to lose!

7/26/18

Lost Keycards: Email or call your Altamira RV Lot HOA Volunteer, (see email address on this page or call them from numbers listed on an old invoice) and let them know your card is missing. We will send an invoice for $50 and as soon we receive payment, we will order a new card and reprogram the system to delete your old card and add in the new keycard number and mail your new card to you.

Automatic Gate Control project was completed. Thanx to Leo DeCastro, Trevor Olson, Tim & Chris Matthews for their leadership and help on the project.

11/1/2017

Work will begin shortly to install automatic gate opener. Members will receive more info within a couple weeks.

Bids have been received for a new security system to be installed sometime this fall. We will keep you posted on the when the project is expected to start.

In the last few years the instances have greatly increased where people have left the gate unlocked or have not spinned off the lock after re-locking the gate. The Committee is looking into costs to install a security gate and cameras so those who are not complying with the rules can be identified. An assessment may be forthcoming to help cover the costs.

The Committee will be getting bids to repair or replace large sections of fencing and will also be reviewing bids/costs on security systems.

As of this date the east side of the lot has been covered with rock so now both sides have a good coverage of rock. The Committee asks that each AMRL member remember to spin the combination lock when leaving the lot. Members have reported coming to the lot and finding the lock off completely or it opens with a yank. Please be diligent.

Due to weather the rock work has been delayed. The new target date is the first week end of April 2015. Those affected are spots 23 to 38 and will need to move their rigs for two days while the work is done. We will contact the City for temporary parking permits and will notify those affected in advance. Please feel free to contact your representative with any questions.

In the next month or so the RV Lot Committee will be laying rock in the areas that are dirt/dg. If you are on the side with no rock, please be aware we will be sending you a notice to alert you on the dates this improvement will take place. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us using the email address " altamirarvlot@gmail.com " or your Altamira RV Lot Representative for your respective HOA.

The Committee will be getting bids to install rock on the remaining side of the lot and also to fix the main gate pole that has become a little loose with time and use.

New gate code was changed 3/15/2013 and codes have been mailed or emailed to all members.

January 2013

The Committee Members undertook the project of rewiring the entire lot with new poles and more efficient lights in September and finished in October. The result is an improved lighting system and significant utility costs savings.

In early December vandals cut through the fencing along the back side of the lot and several members suffered significant loss of stolen belongings and property damage. Due to the losses and frequency of theft, the Committee has been gathering quotes to improve the back perimeter fence security. The costs will result in a special assessment and each member will be notified well in advance of any additional amounts due. In the meantime it is suggested each member consider looking into battery operated motion detector security devices for RV’s, etc. Please feel free to email altamirarvlot@gmail.com if you have any questions.
